Pool Inspections

Standard home inspections usually stop short of the pool. Foxx Pools offers affordable inspection packages for buyers and sellers who want a clear picture of the pool and equipment before closing.

Repairs

General repairs are billed hourly plus parts and supplies. That includes plumbing within the filtration system, filter, pump, heater, sanitizer repairs, and many re-plumb filter-system jobs. Full line re-plumbing from filter to pool is quoted separately.

Quick Answers

Three service questions we hear all the time

Why is my filter pressure high?

High filter pressure usually means the system is running 10 to 15 PSI over its normal clean operating pressure. DE and cartridge filters catch smaller particles than sand, so cloudy water, algae, and spring cleanup can raise pressure fast. If the gauge climbs quickly, the filter likely needs attention rather than more run time.

How often should I empty the skimmer and pump baskets?

As a baseline, check skimmer baskets about three times a week and the pump basket at least once a week. If your yard drops pine needles, leaves, or grass clippings into the pool, check more often. Full baskets choke off circulation and make every other water issue harder to solve.

Why do my eyes burn if chlorine is in range?

It is usually a pH problem, not a chlorine problem. When pool water drifts outside the ideal 7.2 to 7.8 pH range, swimmers often notice burning eyes, itchy skin, cloudy water, and heavier chlorine use. A proper water test is the fast way to correct it.
